Wandered into an article with 140 iconic cinematic shots, the comments complained there was no explanation to their composition. Decided to give it a run down and keep it to myself.
The compositions are mostly self explanatory but I wanted to see what patterns I could find. That’s just how you learn stuffs.

Hey Tumblr, while all ya’ll are on a Bendy and the Ink Machine kick I’d like to remind you that Cuphead still exists. Not to knock Bendy! I love it just like you all do, but I don’t see anyone talking about Cuphead anymore and it NEEDS to be talked about!
For those who don’t know, Cuphead is a Contra-style run and gun game where literally EVERYTHING is hand drawn to mirror the old fleischer 1930’s style of animation.
It was announced in 2014 but it’s been through a touch of development hell since then and now it’s finally coming out this year!
I feel like this game deserves a lot more attention now that it’s coming this year (of course I say this year when that could easily change) especially since I know tumblr loves traditional animation, and I know there are plenty of animators on here.
It’s an Xbox One exclusive and it’ll be on Steam, but I’m holding out hope for a port to Switch (especially since the devs have been seen lurking around the Nintendo subreddit whenever the game is brought up there). Either way you can, support it!

Sure, @anatomicalart! The colors get reused between the arm/back angles so I’ll separate them.
Arm view:
Red = Deltoids (all three heads are in one color)
Blue = Latissimus Dorsi
Green = Biceps Brachii
Yellow = Triceps Brachii
Forearm:
Red = One of the wrist flexors
Blue = Brachioradialis
Back view, left side:
Red = Deltoids (all three heads are in one color)
Blue = Latissimus Dorsi
Green = Infraspinatus, Teres Minor, Teres Major
Yellow = Trapezius (all groups one color)
Back view, right side:
Red = Supraspinatus

Scar has been a major favorite since childhood. Still remains strong to this day.
I was going to do a Kovu/Scar esque picture, but Simba weaseled his way onto the paper.
When my sister and I were younger, we would pretend to be the lions. I would always be Scar, she Simba.
I even managed to give her a scar on her wrist while we were…”reenacting” the final fight scene.

I kind of rushed through this one, not at all what I wanted it to look finished.
