I am in love with Spirit’s current project, and cannot wait to see come to fruition.
I took some inspiration from their most current stream, though I wish I could have had the time to work on it more than a few hours. (I have no skills in landscape digial art) Definitely no justice to Spirit’s painting abilities, Spirit, you are too amazing at painting.
I am currently developing another pipeline process video where I animate a character, and composite it to make it emulate traditional animation cels. While that’s happening, I recently announced a little challenge on twitter where people should attempt their own fake cel challenge. Here were the rules I posted and the information I posted about it.
Posting it here on tumblr for the tumblr community. You guys should try it!

This challenge is made with an emphasis on human anatomy in mind because this is something I really want to improve on. Each week, I will make a post with references I find for the theme to help get everyone started. :D

Your job, if you wish to join me, is to practice drawing the topic for that week. It can be doodles, sketches, an art piece that focuses on the theme, or whatever else you can think of.

Witch Namine and cat Vanitas!
Even have a little story to go with it brewing in the brain!
-“Vanitas is natural born trickster, with a knack for getting into mischief.
One prank placed on the wrong magician, Vanitas finds himself institutionalized in a Witch academy where he will be assigned into servitude to a witch for the next thousand years. (Albeit exaggerated by the overly upset magician)
Reduced to a broomstick mascot, and compared to his ‘peers’ he can now only perform mere party tricks, he finds himself paired up with the young and very promising witch, Namine, in which the Court of Devines hope he will be able to be reformed.
"Well,” Vanitas chalked with mirth, “We’ll just see about that.”-
Ok so, this just gets me.
I find myself laughing hysterically because the bandages just eject from his face in a burst of fabric frenzy, and gently disappear into the night.

I’m thinking females should have rounded tip ears (still long) and males pointy. Kind of an attraction trade, like peacocks and their feathers.
I did make a boy with more round ears though~ ;)
