I got pretty fed up with looking for words to replace said because they weren’t sorted in a way I could easily use/find them for the right time. So I did some myself.
A nice reference list for those that can’t just think of what word they are looking for. But remember that using “said” isn’t a bad thing. “Said” is universal and versatile and each of these words have their own meaning, so it isn’t always interchangeable.
One very good person was disappointed that it’s Maokai that gets a victorious skin this year, not Kindred. So i tried to make their dream come true a little.
Another Yu Yu Hakusho Inktober pin before bed!
Hiei needed some love too.
It’s been forever since I’ve drawn him! I still don’t know how to draw his hair outside from the way Yoshihiro and the animation studio did it.
Friend of mine drew Puu.
Yusuke Urameshiiiiii!!!
Growing up, Hiei was my favorite, but upon watching the series several times last year and this year (cause I have an addiction) Yusuke has won my heart. But Hiei still clings to it.
hi guys today I made a tutorial on how to make my favorite art nouveau-y embellishments! these are a super fun and easy way to add a little emphasis to a drawing and you can make all kinds of designs once you get the basic flow! If you have any questions feel free to ask and let me know if there’s any kind of tutorial you’d like for me to make in the future !!!
And they are getting even more strict when it comes to not using invoices for charging for Digital Goods.
Whatever Invoices make you uncomfortable or not, you gotta start using them if you want to keep your PayPal and your money. Changes starting this October 19th.
Honestly I don’t get why so many artists are so overwhelmed by invoices, takes just a few clicks to set up.
And is not only “oh you have to use invoices because PayPal says so” if you don’t use invoices you’re putting yourself at risk of being scammed by an user abusing the buyer’s protection.
Since PayPal ain’t got no idea of what those $50 you received were for, but the buyer is saying they didn’t got anything for the money, PayPal will just side with the buyer.
I’m seriously begging ppl, start using invoices. I’m tired of seeing ppl complain their paypal was banned, or is under investigation, or worse, the $100 they got for a very complicated commission, 3 months later get a refund issue.
just
start
using
invoices
for your own sake.
Here is how you use invoices because I can’t keep playing devil’d advocate, yes I would love to help you get your PayPal restored but just this last month I had to help three persons, and they were MORE than aware of this issues.
Just protect yourself.
Step 1. You login and click here
Step 2. You click create new Invoice. YOU NEVER CLICK REQUEST MONEY, unless you want to risk yourself to get scamer by buyer’s protection exploit and not only lose your money but your paypal account, and any future paypal linked to your irl name.
Step 3 You follow this steps
1. Invoice for amount only
2. Ask your client for their PayPal email and put in that field
3. Add a vague description of what you’re doing, something like “Character Coloured with Background” is good enough, and if you need more than 1 character you can type in “2″ where it says amount, or just say “2 characters”.
Warning: don’t type in “Naruto rawing Sasuke”. That will get you banned.
4. Click send.
Optional steps. Create a template, doesn’t take more than 10 minutes and it will save you a lot of time for future invoices, you can even click on “items” right next to “create invoice” and add a list of services you offer such as “character sketch” “character flats” along with a price, so next time you invoice you just add to the invoice from your list of items and you saved yourself some more time.
More importantly, you protect yourself from buyer’s protection exploit because if PayPal knows you’re doing digital goods, then you will be allowed that you did in fact created a digital good.
Keep PayPal happy, as for right now there are no alternatives to this service, and this is the only source of income for many freelancers.
The second component of my course load in Italy was plein air landscape painting. These took anywhere from 30 minutes to six hours, but I can’t lie about having just laid back and enjoyed being outside instead of painting when I was feeling particularly tired…
W&N watercolor and Holbein gouache on Arches hot press and Canson Mi-Teintes toned paper.
My fic contribution to the @kh-worldsconnected PLEASE go visit my collab partner, @roxasthatisastick and give them props to an ever so lovely watercolor illustration!

Forgive the writing, I haven’t written anything in so long, and I had major artblock, Especially on this theme. ha.
Unbalanced. He was too far ahead. He was falling behind. It didn’t matter how long he walked. Darkness surrounded him. His pathway only illuminated by memories not his own, crafted into stainglass floors. The light pulsing with the rhythm of a heartbeat.
He knew his physical being was fast asleep, in a safe, protected room. She had told him so. She never lied. In fact, if he figured right, he chose that place. But he couldn’t be sure anymore. That had been so long ago.
The rhythm jumbled. He glanced down to the glass tiles he had been treading along. Images blurred and obscure. Faint, dim light flickered. Familiar. He was getting closer. They, were getting closer. That’s right. He wasn’t alone. How could he forget? The silent shadow following in his wake paced slower than himself.
He had to remind himself to stop and wait every so often, for his other half was falling behind. And he wasn’t about to leave him behind again. There was no way he would, since he had worked so hard to get them on the same side. To cease the fighting that had erupted in the beginning.
Call it a truce. He didn’t know for sure. But the other had not spoken a word since their, “arrangement." Just silently following. Would he bound for the Dark Master’s side as soon as they were to awaken? Or, would the coin have flipped to the other side? Will he remember the trek they have taken together in this dark void of broken memories? What will happen when he too steps onto the familiar path of memories. Their memories. And not of the boy’s whom gave refuge within his heart.
Halting, along with his thoughts, he turned to the shadow of himself, far behind in the fading lit path of memory lane. In a face so much like the boy that ferried them, held so much emotion. Something inside, eating at his mind. He wanted to call out to him, but wasn’t sure words would do him justice. The desire for home tempting him to turn back and abandon the past’s nightmare.
Instead, he walked back, for the second time. The first, to ask his other to join him in this Dive of Heart. Stopping just at the edge of their memories, the barrier of where glass and heart cracked and intertwined. Fragile and waning as he simply waited for the darkness to catch up.
Eternally instant, they barred eyes at one another, now mere steps away. Taking in each other’s existence.
Without a word, he reached out his hand, offering it to his darker half. A reassuring, genuine smile wedged its way to his lips. His other looked up with his eyes as his head and brow remained in a sullen gesture.
Broken and unsure. He had come all this way, having to look and live a another’s life, without the living. Share memories and feelings. If he just walks a little further, he can have his own again. The only difference, it’s a lot darker on the other side. He had grown used to this light that had blindsided him. He wondered, if he could truly leave it now, return with his original self.
The different rhythm of heartbeats was disorienting, one beat so brightly and with vigor, the other, like a soft whisper in the wind at night, or a tiny clock on the wall. Only as bright as a single star, whereas the prior was the sun.
Amber and turquoise stared never-ending. The warm light tempted him to stay put. But the outstretched hand. The hand that was once his as well, held an inclination he could not ignore. Reaching out, painstakingly slow. His better half, he could admit now, patiently waited. Still smiling a beam of pureness. His hand finally rested, fingers clasped together. An a ever so gentle tug pulled him out of his rooted position, and brought him over the the threshold of doubt and weariness.
A brilliant light flashed and broke them away from the sanctum heart. No need for return. He had finally filled the void. The cogs begin to turn again, as the gear sets into place. In the end, he wasn’t missing a part of himself. He, was this missing piece.
We can’t–I can’t do this. I thought it’d work out but I can’t keep this up. It’s not fair to either of us. The last thing I’d ever want is to hurt you, but Im pretty sure I’ve already done more damage than I could ever hope to repair.
